Hangout
Hangout is a social networking platform currently under development. I'm working on this project along with three other enthusiastic developers as a member of team Web Crawlers. Hangout will allow users to participate in real-life social events, announce and organize such events and interact with other users. Want to go to a concert with your friends? This site will allow you to manage that easily.

This site was developed for a catering firm which required first and foremost an online gallery to promote their culinary products. The gallery is powered by a MySQL database and a PHP script that displays the items. Big thanks go to Lokesh Dhakar and his Lightbox script. The gallery also shows the events that the firm has organized. Besides pictures, the site offers some information about the firm like a short history and some contact information. There’s a content management system for adding pictures in every category, and static content can be edited easily thanks to TinyMCE and their WYSIWYG editor. The design was meant to be rich in images in order to impress and attract potential customers. It’s clean, simple, easy to navigate and optimized for search engines.

The same firm that deals in catering also has a division that commercializes electronics and appliances. This site is meant to showcase their promotional offers online. A MySQL database and a PHP script manage that along with Lokesh Dhakar’s Lightbox script. A content management system is used to administer the gallery and to edit static content with the help of TinyMCE’s WYSIWYG editor. Besides promotional offers, the site offers basic information about the services the firm offers, as well as a newsletter to keep users up to date with the latest products offered. The layout is intuitive and easy to navigate.

When I was asked to redesign the Romanian community site for Team Fortress 2, I couldn’t say no. The result was a layout heavily influenced by the Team Fortress 2 theme when it comes to colors and fonts. The content was meant to be compact and easily accessible, but due to some e107 limitations, it never got to see the light of day as it was meant to be. As it is now, it’s a bit more simplistic, but true to the theme it’s supposed to represent. The site itself is a great community site, mixing a blog with forum integration in order to help the TF2 community to grow. So go ahead, play the game, give it a shot and then join the community.

This was the project I had to do to obtain my certificate in informatics in the last year of high-school. It’s an online sneaker shop with all the features this kind of site should offer. That includes a user account system, browsing by multiple categories, order forms and a shopping cart powered by AJAX that allows you to drag and drop products in the shopping cart. The design is clean and intuitive and displays all kinds of information about products.
* Product pictures are taken from Eastbay and this is just a simulation of an online store.

http://www.finanteolt.ro
This is the official site of a local finance center affiliated with the government. It is quite complex and holds large amounts of information. The layout provides easy access to all the sections as well as numerous pieces of information. The content is managed through CuteNews and the poll is generated by SymPoll . I’ve also designed a mini-forum that users can use to direct questions to qualified people who in turn can answer these questions through an easy-to-use system. It’s a complex site that needs to be administered by many people so I’ve made sure that this could be easily achieved.

Dropped Projects
These are various sites that have ceased to exist due to certain reasons like the owner not paying his hosting services, etc. Glass and Craft was an online store that sold decorative objects crafted by hand. It had a content management system to add products, categories and pictures and ordering was done by email and completion of forms. BreakLimit was a gaming community site that me and two friends decided to make but we never really got to finish it. The above design was supposed to reflect the look of the site. Sanatate Hellios was a site for a local health clinic that showcased information about services the clinic offered, etc.
